Change the Default Internet Explorer Search Page (All Windows) Category: Home > Software > Internet Explorer > Search Features
By default a Microsoft search page is shown when a user clicks on the "Search" toolbar button in Internet Explorer. This tweak allows you to specify an alternate search URL. Open your registry and find the key below. Create a new String value, or modify the existing value called 'Search Bar' using the settings below. Exit your registry, you may need to restart or log out of Windows for the change to take effect.
Note: This tweak can also be applied on a per-user basis under the [HKEY_CURRENT_USER] hive.
